Installation costs

  • A one-off fee of Rs 2,000 (VAT excl.) for a new subscription.
  • An additional fee of Rs 500 will be charged for installation after office hours as follows:
    • Monday – Friday: 16h30 – 18h30
    • Saturday & Public holidays: 08h00 – 16h00(The additional fee will appear on your first telephone bill)
  • A mandatory Refundable Security Deposit (Exempted from VAT):
    • Rs 1,000 for Residential Customers
    • Rs 5,000 for Expatriates Customers(Security Deposit payment has to be effected within 4 weeks of line installation to your nearest Telecom shop)

Note: Your request for a new fixed line can be cancelled if you are not ready for the installation, 120 days after you made your request.
